Maribor - live the student life

Student conference in Maribor was the best time to get to know an interesting and young city in Slovenia. They say is the city of colorful experiences. The truth is that you can't get bored. If you like sightseeing, there a lot of attraction, if you like drinking and sightseeing you can pass by the old wine house. That's interesting because they have a really old vine, the oldest, which is growing for 400 years there. And yes, of course they have good wine.
They have a lot of green areas, a pretty little mountain named Pohorje where will be held in 2013 the 26th Winter Universiade. 
They have universities, culture, sports, drinking, festival. Oh yes, how can I forget the Lent festival!! It was happening during my stay there, every night along the Drava river everything was so alive, cheerful, a lot of beer, music, people...At 12 everything was finished, quiet and people were vanished, where? In the clubs, of course! 
It's a good destination, not so expensive the people are great and for sure you will not get bored.
Oh...How could I forgot the borovnicica, the drink made from blueberries and borovnica ice cream. Uh...When you go there bring some;)
